Year: Early R.O.C.

Clay: Chin Hwei Ni

Spout: Single-holed

Firing Method: Wood-firing

Bottom Seal: Jin Din Shang Biao

Description: Breathtakingly beautiful small piece, period! And the craftsmanship of it is soooo good - perfect proportion, perfect lid/body fit (I tested it, no drip when pouring), perfect expression of a long-extinct clay, perfect firing ... if you ask me why sell it, I don't know, except the need to always make Hou De a unique place to attract tea connoisseurs and yixing collectors.

Naturally-occured Chin Hwei Ni became exitinct in all mines in yixing before Cultural Revolution. And it is the clay that demands the highest firing temperature, among all clays for yixings. I took a close-up picture to show the delicate beauty of this unique clay.

In a very clean condition.
