Many people have standed by the claim that silver teapot/kettle can improve the water or tea quality. From our own experience, we also found the water tasted slightly more round and "dynamic" feeling than from normal stainless steel kettle and earthenware kettles. More experiments of coz are necessary.

Care for antique silver teapot/kettle: when using the silver kettle, never heat it on "direct fire" such as gas stove or worst, flame or alcohol burner. The uneven or too concentrated firing spot may shorten the life of your gem. Wipe it clean and let dry naturally after every use. Following those simply tips, those silver teapot/kettle is really low-maintenance and durable.
