Description: Quite a few high mountain plantations in Taiwan were badly damaged by Typhoon in early August. As a result, the autumn and winter harvests of High Mountain oolongs are expected to be reduced, and with less certain quality. We decided to produce a batch of very fine High Mountain Oolong with good warmth for the Autumn/Winter weather, the solution: a batch of Spring Li-Shan "Hwa Gan" hand-harvested oolong enriched with traditional wood-roasting!

While retaining the superb fragrance and the "signature" veggie-protein scent of genuine High-Mountain oolong, the medium-bodied roasting smartly caramelized the aroma with more depth and complexity, and adds soothing warmth to the taste. It can be energizing if you need something to clear your mind or warm up the body! In addition, the roasted High Mountain oolong will last and stay fresh longer than if not roasted. Best enjoyed using aroma cup.
